Small Acres, Big Impact: SFLR x TASFRL Texas Site Launch (LinkedIn Live)

SFLR Network has selected Texas AgriForestry Small Farmers, Ranchers, and Landowners (TASFRL) as the Texas Network Site, expanding support for forestry, land stewardship, and long-term land retention across the state. This partnership strengthens locally led solutions that help small farmers, ranchers, and landowners, especially historically underserved communities, with succession planning, heirs' property support, and practical conservation implementation through TASFRL's Land Management Services program. As part of SFLR Network's Black History Month series "It's Always Been the Land," join this LinkedIn Live conversation: "Small Acres, Big Impact, Reimagining the Future of African American Land Stewardship." We will explore why land ownership remains central to generational resilience, cultural continuity, and community well-being, and how forestry-focused stewardship can support families today and for generations to come.

TASFRL at US BCSD Annual Meeting 2026

TASFRL is proud to participate in the US BCSD Annual Meeting 2026 in The Woodlands, Texas. Our Director & Treasurer, Joseph K. Johnson, PMP®, will join a panel discussion on the Small Landowners Carbon Collaborative (SLCC), exploring how carbon markets can create new opportunities for small landowners while supporting long-term land stewardship. The US BCSD Annual Meeting is a one-day session designed to move sustainability forward through collaboration, practical solutions, and a clear business case. This year’s program highlights member-driven collaborative work and active initiatives, including SLCC, circularity, energy, water, ecosystem services, and social impact. For TASFRL, this conversation reflects our commitment to advancing inclusive land stewardship, regenerative futures, and practical pathways that help landowners, rural communities, and working lands thrive.
